10–12 Ton Spider Crane
Diesel mini crawler spider crane available in two rated capacities — 10-ton (RM10.0) and 12-ton (RM12.0) — with up to 22m (4-rope) lift height, dual-speed hydraulic winch and travel, and 360° slewing. Part of RisenMega's 1–16 Ton spider crane series, built for high-reach, confined-access job sites.
RM10.0 or RM12.0: Which Capacity Fits Your Job

Key Features and Design
Both the RM10.0 and RM12.0 share manual-rotation outriggers with automatic support leveling, a 360° rotary turntable (0–360°, 120 sec) with wireless remote control (100 m range), a dual-speed hydraulic winch and travel system, a three-phase AC electric motor (YE2-180-6), and a Q355D high-strength steel frame. The two models differ in diesel engine option.
- Manual-rotation outriggers with automatic support (both models: Side 7400 / Front 7000 / Rear 6000 mm working footprint)
- 360° rotary turntable (0–360°, 120 sec) with wireless remote control (100 m range)
- Dual-speed hydraulic winch (6.5/12 m/min) and dual-speed travel (0.8/2 km/h)
- RM10.0 diesel engine options — YN27GBZ 58kW or 4TNV98 42.4kW — with an optional diesel configuration
- RM12.0 diesel engine — Changchai 65kW
- Q355D high-strength steel frame construction
Safety Systems
Both models include seven built-in safety devices — a torque limiter, anti-rollover device, interlock, hook overwinding device, overload alarm limiter, tri-color alarm light, and emergency stop button — intended to guard against overload, uncontrolled descent, and operator error on confined job sites.

RM8.0 vs RM10.0 vs RM12.0: Series Context
RisenMega's spider crane series spans 1 to 16 tons. The table below places the RM10.0 and RM12.0 next to the smaller RM8.0 — choose based on the lift height, working radius, and load your job requires. For projects that need more than 12 tons of capacity, ask about the larger models in the series.

Applications: Where the 10-12 Ton Spider Crane Is Used
Typical uses include high-reach indoor lifting for renovation and steel erection, glass and curtain-wall installation on taller floors, heavy HVAC and mechanical equipment placement, and warehouse or factory maintenance — any job where headroom, doorway width, or floor loading rules out a wheeled crane or a larger crawler crane, but the load or lift height exceeds what an 8-ton spider crane can handle.
- High-reach interior renovation and steel-frame lifting
- Glass and curtain-wall panel installation on multi-story builds
- Heavy HVAC unit and mechanical equipment placement
- Warehouse, workshop, and factory maintenance work
- Landscaping and courtyard jobs needing longer boom reach

Price, Lead Time, and Customization
Final price depends on the model (RM10.0 or RM12.0), diesel engine option, control system (manual or remote), outrigger customization, and order quantity, so there is no single fixed list price. Lead time depends on current production load and how much customization is requested — confirm both with sales before ordering.
FAQ
What is a spider crane used for?
Lifting materials on indoor, low-headroom, or uneven sites where a standard mobile or crawler crane can't fit.
What is the difference between the RM10.0 and RM12.0?
The RM12.0 has a higher 12-ton rated capacity versus 10 tons on the RM10.0, a taller 22m lift height versus 20.5m, a longer 5.5–21.8m boom versus 5.0–20.1m, and a heavier 11500kg machine weight versus 9300kg. The RM10.0 runs on a YN27GBZ or 4TNV98 diesel engine with an optional diesel configuration, while the RM12.0 runs on a Changchai 65kW diesel engine.
How does the 10-12 Ton Spider Crane compare to the 8 Ton model?
Both the RM10.0 and RM12.0 lift higher and heavier loads than the RM8.0, with taller lift heights (20.5m and 22m versus 18.2m) and higher rated capacities (10 and 12 tons versus 8 tons).
What is the price range for a 10-12 Ton Spider Crane?
Price varies by model, engine, control system, and customization — request a quote for your configuration.
How long does delivery usually take?
Lead time depends on production schedule and customization level; confirm a firm date with sales.
What does the dual-speed winch and travel system do?
On both the RM10.0 and RM12.0, the winch offers a slow 6.5 m/min speed for precise positioning and a fast 12 m/min speed for general hoisting, while travel offers a low 0–0.8 km/h speed for tight maneuvering and a high 0–2 km/h speed for repositioning.
