Why Choose the Risenmega Electric Floor Crane

Every capacity in this range shares the same core engineering: a fully electric drive and lift system, a reinforced 3-stage telescopic boom, and hydraulic cylinders sized for the crane's full rated load — not just its nameplate figure.

Fully Electric Power

An onboard 48V battery drives both crane travel and boom lift — no compressed air line, no manual hydraulic pumping, and no engine exhaust indoors.

3-Stage Telescopic Boom

Two hydraulic-powered boom sections plus one manually adjustable section extend total reach up to 3.3 meters for flexible load positioning.

180° / 360° Rotating Base Options

A slewing base lets the boom pivot around the mast without repositioning the whole crane — useful for loading from two or more angles in a confined bay.

Wide, Adjustable Outrigger Legs

Extendable support legs with leveling screw feet widen the footprint on rotating models for stability under full rated load.

Purpose-Sized Hydraulic Cylinders

Ø80mm lift / Ø50mm telescopic cylinders on the 1–1.5 ton models step up to a Ø100mm lift cylinder on the 2 ton model, matched to each crane's working load.

Smooth-Rolling Casters

Poly-on-steel caster wheels let a single operator reposition the crane around the shop floor without a tow vehicle or forklift.

How to Choose the Right Configuration

Choosing a Capacity

Match the crane's rated capacity to your heaviest regular load, then keep a safety margin — capacity is highest with the boom retracted and drops as it extends, so check the rated load chart at your working reach, not just the nameplate rating.

Fixed vs. 180° vs. 360°

A fixed base is the lightest and most maneuverable option for straight-line load transfer. 180° rotation suits loading docks or working between two machines without repositioning the base. 360° rotation is built for a stationary workstation that needs a full-circle reach — it uses a heavier four-leg outrigger chassis for stability.

Weight & Footprint Trade-Offs

Rotating models carry a slewing bearing and wider outrigger legs, so they weigh more and take up a larger footprint than the fixed-base crane of the same capacity. If floor space or portability is the priority, the fixed base is the more compact choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a fixed-base and a rotating-base electric floor crane?

A fixed-base crane's boom only moves up, down, and in/out along the crane's travel direction — to change the load's angle, you reposition the whole crane. A rotating-base crane lets the boom slew around the mast (180° or 360°) while the base stays put, which is useful in tight bays or when you need to load from more than one side.

Do I need 180° or 360° rotation?

180° rotation covers most two-sided use cases, such as a loading dock or working between two machines. 360° rotation is built for a stationary workstation crane that needs a full-circle reach without ever moving the base — it comes on a heavier four-leg outrigger chassis for the added stability that full rotation requires.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

Runtime depends on how often you're lifting versus traveling. Each crane in this range uses a 48V/32Ah battery pack sized for a full shift of intermittent workshop use; contact us with your expected duty cycle for a specific runtime estimate.

Does the crane's lifting capacity change as the boom extends?

Yes. As with most telescopic jib cranes, rated capacity is highest with the boom fully retracted and decreases as it extends further out. Always check the rated load chart on the boom at your working extension before lifting.

What's included with the crane?

Each unit ships with the crane body, telescopic boom, hook with safety latch, onboard 48V battery and charger, electric drive/lift motor, and a walk-behind control handle. Contact us to confirm the exact accessory package for your order.

Can this run on a different voltage, and do you ship internationally?

The standard configuration runs on its own onboard 48V DC battery system, so it isn't tied to local mains voltage. Risenmega ships worldwide — contact us for country-specific compliance documentation and freight quotes.
